A few weeks ago, I received an email from Michael's mother, asking if I could take some portraits for her son's 1st birthday. Leticia said she had found me online, said some really sweet things about my work, and was interested in booking me for a shoot :) I was so excited to meet her and her son, who just turned 1 on August 6th.
I absolutely love this age. And as you can see, Michael is one handsome little boy. When we first met at our location, I just couldn't stop thinking how adorable he was! Thank you, Leticia, for finding me and allowing me to capture some moments of your baby boy. It was such a pleasure working with you both and I had a lot of fun! Thank you for enduring the heat as well..you all did wonderful & I just adore so many of these moments :) Hope you & your family can enjoy these photos of Michael for years to come!
Well, like I said...he just turned 1. So I thought this #1 block was appropriate ;)

You can't have a birthday without balloons....many of these were "UP" inspired :)

Notice he has the "M" block in his hand :)

I just love his little face in the one on the left!! Haha, he is too cute!

They are so curious at this age...you can see it in their eyes.

But I managed to get him to look at me a few times and smile for the camera :)

Most of the time, it was mommy who made him smile :)

He's also starting to stand up!

Yeah!

His mom dressed him up so well. I loved his little red vest!

And his cute little converses...

Being helped up the stairs..

Speaking of curiosity, he really loved this leaf...

He loved playing with the leaf...

...And eating the leaf!! (this is one of my favorite shots..he's so adorable!!)

Loved this little guy, and his mama was a sweetheart too! Thanks again Leticia for letting me capture these images for you!

Hello! My name is Pamela Macdonald. Welcome to my photography blog! I love to find images to photograph through even the tiniest details placed all around us. I also especially love gearing my work towards photographing babies, children, and families. It is extremely rewarding for me to be able to help others in this way. I've been told to 'do what makes your heart leap', and photography is one of the things that does just that for me. I have found it as one of my main creative outlets and I'm so grateful to have been given the opportunities to start this little photography business of mine. What inspires me? Plenty of things: the strength that is my husband, bright colors, a calm melody, Fall weather, babies, sunsets, laughter, rainy days, bright blue skies, brave integrity, elegant and graceful demeanor, and love. This blog is where you can see some of the products of that inspiration and my thoughts on them. You can read my ramblings, find out more about how I work, leave a comment, see how to book a session, and of course, view my growing collection of photographs! Thank you for visiting and taking the time to look around! Enjoy! [...
