Hello! My name is Pamela Macdonald. Welcome to my photography blog! I love to find images to photograph through even the tiniest details placed all around us. I also especially love gearing my work towards photographing babies, children, and families. It is extremely rewarding for me to be able to help others in this way. I've been told to 'do what makes your heart leap', and photography is one of the things that does just that for me. I have found it as one of my main creative outlets and I'm so grateful to have been given the opportunities to start this little photography business of mine. What inspires me? Plenty of things: the strength that is my husband, bright colors, a calm melody, Fall weather, babies, sunsets, laughter, rainy days, bright blue skies, brave integrity, elegant and graceful demeanor, and love. This blog is where you can see some of the products of that inspiration and my thoughts on them. You can read my ramblings, find out more about how I work, leave a comment, see how to book a session, and of course, view my growing collection of photographs! Thank you for visiting and taking the time to look around! Enjoy! [...Find Out More...]

[...KARA'S PICNIC...]

The Princess & the FrogI just realized I never blogged these photos! This means my blog has been missing out on a little bit more cuteness! These are from the photo shoot I did for my little sister's birthday present. This is her boyfriend's daughter, Kara, who often finds herself in front of my lens :) It loves her! (She can also be found in my blog here)

She reminds my sister and I of the princess from The Princess & the Frog. That first photo was all too easy to come up with :) [and also one of my favorites]. Also, this one:IMG_5300
There's so much to do with a bouquet of flowers and a basket!

To be a child...Ee-YAH!"FLOWERS!"Hi.
And she picked up this flower all by herself and walked right up to Janelle to give it to her. Glad I caught the moment :) A Flower For You.
Her daddy loves her.Daddy & Me.
And she loves her daddy :) I just love her little smile here.I Love My Daddy.
A very much loved little girl :)Balanced.
Even though we told her it wasn't real, she took a big bite. Woops!Yum?

  1. There is something fascinating about Family pictures and that is the deep connection they share for one another. Just a simple out of town or picnic is already enough to make the moments memorable and lasting. Photography is just like music; you let your emotion make the best arrangement to produce a stunning result.
